Curriculum & Assessment

The curriculum is the core of the Lake Bluff District 65 educational experience. Beginning in kindergarten, children are instructed in reading/language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language, physical education, and the fine arts (art, music, and drama). The curriculum is aligned with the state and national standards and reflects the high academic expectations of the community. Instructional strategies are developmentally appropriate and based upon research and best practices in education.
